We are down there in 4 weeks, everything booked, and need the Jaden Sun for transport and then I see a cat fast ferry, 218 people cap., for sale, contact elvis jadenxxxx at xxx.com . hopefully they are just upgrading.

Anybody know: is it running? will it be running in May?

Yes it is up for sale. It may still be running when you get here. Too expensive to run for the fares that Elvis can charge.

well this is upsetting. There is an alternative that is not that much more expensive. Don't know what islands you are flying to/from but we used svgair.com to get from SVD to Union Island. They also fly other routes and not that expensive in our opinion. e.g., one way from SVD to Union Island = US $47 that includes fuel surcharge.

OP here. we are back. we took it. it is up for sale and has been for a long tme. apparently there is a subsidy from the svg gov that fell through. ran on time.

Nearly missed it though as we were a ways away listening to a rescue mission story off Ronde. only stays at the dock 5 minutes for unload/load of passengers.
