Before you go: the best Grenada guidebook is published by Brandt and written by Paul Crask. We got ours on Amazon.
Grenadians are the warm and friendly. They are proud, dignified and embrace a national identity. Grenada Grand has the best location and best $$ value on Grande Anse Beach. Grenada driving can be crazy, everybody drives fast but with a smile on their face. High end restaurants (Beach House, Aquarium and La Luna) live up to their billing and the local eateries (Little Dipper and Boots) are fun. Coconuts and Umbrellas were also very good. Whisper Cove and Da Big Fish were only OK. St George's on cruise boat days is absolute mayhem; take some money and haggle for spices, fruits and trinkets. Watch out for the walking tour guides. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> The bus system seems to go everywhere for cheap. The Rainforest, Rum Distillery and Plantation tours are also a good take. We've been to many islands and Grenada is among our favorites with Anguilla and St John.
