Actually it says Kakao (only) will be open by November. Others have reported that Kontiki had started construction down by Esmeralda, but nothing about Kakao starting construction. I guess the article is correct..

I was surprised at that also. Perhaps the story got Kakao and Kontiki confused, as apparently they have started on Kontiki.

Well, they did open but Irma took care of them in short order. Not the governments fault and I can see their priorities to get schools and the infrastructure going. Agree but why not leave Chez Leandre and the other tenants be till the construction of new carbets are ready to begin?
