Scary stuff, indeed. It seems every year there's a new catastrophe classified as worst in history. The fire fighters are doing an amazing job in scorching heat, and many citizens have lost everything.

All's well at Glen Eden. We are members and visited today. The evacuation was lifted last Monday or Tuesday and residents were allowed back. They kept the place closed to members and guests until last Friday. They had a nice crowd over the weekend and it was nice and quiet today with only several days guests and members, like us, and residents. If you're familiar with GE, the homes up on the hill at Skyview, were the ones that were of most concern. The fire burned up close to the property line up in that area but other than that, you can't tell the fire got that close. My firefighting brothers did a great job of stopping the fire at the property lines! GE is open and in great shape!
