A tropical wave is currently located over the Lesser Antilles. Satellite imagery this morning indicates that there has been some increase in shower and thunderstorm activity with this tropical wave... https://crownweather.com/index.php/author/rob/

A side note there was a report out on what people stock up on when their area is under Hurricane watches... Beer and pop tarts! no joke!

So far it is not doing anything much. Not looking for a big bru-ha-ha, but we could sure use the rain. Maybe a good light-med. shower for about 3 or 4 days. Would love to see a green island again. Cisterns filling up, etc.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

1. A vigorous low pressure area associated with a tropical wave is
forecast to form between the coast of Africa and the Cabo Verde
Islands on Thursday. Conditions appears to be favorable for
development, and a tropical depression could form over the weekend
while the system moves west-northwestward near the Cabo Verde
Islands and the adjacent Atlantic. This system is expected to bring
rains and gusty winds to those islands in two or three days, and
interests in that region should monitor the progress of this
disturbance.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent.

Nice rain for about 15 minutes this morning. But only clouds since, which is keeping the heat down today. Nice break!

Pop Tarts.

What they need to do is put down the Pop Tarts and pick up the Condoms. There is always a population explosion 9 months after these Major storms.

Rain is good in moderation. The wave is moving away. The one to watch is 90L coming off Africa. The models show it becoming coming a fish storm.
