Don't think if he was asking if it was built illegally. Questioning why poster says it should stay open since it was built illegally. To quote the original poster from another post they made: The perch lite was illegally built and will probably remain. Watersports is out of business so chairs and umbrellas will be run without a permit. This is the worst news yet coming out of Club orient resort!
Correct. And if/when it is removed by the French government, the screaming will begin.

We hope it stays open as we get there November 25th and would like chairs and umbrellas.

It works for me, but maybe because it was posted in a private group. The picture shows a group of workers adding on to the seating area.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

That's exactly what's happening along with creating a separate grilling area.

Me neither. Although i did see where they say the shut down if OBC it wont effect. No reason the copro cant have/get permission to build a super perch amongst the ruins. The Club Orient Owners will not be doing anything till the lawyers and insurance company have settled. What Cedric Andre and the others involved did to accommodate and fit in the wishes and/or needs of the owners and loyal guests is amazing. It is a win win for all... I have approached owners on the beach in June 2018 sitting in the same chaise lounge as if nothing was off! They like the perch lite and the fact that Cedric is making available chairs and umbrellas to all those displaced?

No, although I'm a member of that one also. The group is SXM Naturism, and that's where I saw the photo. I somehow have become a member of a number of SXM FB groups - & that's a good thing. You can search the group. New members are always welcome. BTW, my real name isn't Biturbo (long, boring story). it's Larry Bainbridge. Next trip 12/2 - 12/16. [align:right][/align]

Sounds good to me. We usually like to make our last night our "splurge" meal. But we're flexible.
