Curious if anyone has anchored on the "charted" anchorage out behind Pomato Point? Extra bonus points if post Irma!
Thanks in advance.

Many times. Oyster 72, Hallberg Rassy 53 (dozens of times), Oyster 66, Oyster 62
Lovely spot to anchor. We always had someone in the crows-nest to spot the route and ensure no coral heads near when we dropped the hook. Holding has always been excellent. We've often found it to be calmer than the mooring field where the wind can howl through at times.
...not post Irma though so no bonus points for me! Surely wouldnt have changed too much?
As always with Anegada...use all available sources to be as sure as possible that the weather is going to be kind.

It is a very nice Anchorage in settled conditions. You need to be alert going in. I believe all charter companies limit Anegada to the main anchorage if you are on a charter boat.
