Sorry, the Carousel was one of the top ten places on SXM?? Huh?
And anyone but me think that a jacuzzi on your ship balcony, where roughly 1000 people can see you from THEIR balcony, doesn't make sense?

If you put bubble-bath-soap in the jacuzzi and had a foam party that would be fun. The top ten places on SXM makes a thread of it's own!
TOP TEN: not in any particular order...
Orient Beach, Philipsburg Boardwalk, Philipsburg Front Street Shopping, Loterie Farm, Fort Louis in Marigot, Sunset Beach Bar, Mullet Beach, please post your own.
7 0f 10 and still thinking?

Serious thread drift . . . .
I had never heard of the cruise line MSC until a few weeks ago. I have put down a deposit for a cruise on the MSC Magnifica for a four-month, round-the-world cruise starting early January, 2020. There are 46 stops, some for two days, and 26 countries involved. Starts/ends in Genoa. I'm pretty excited. How in the world do you pack for four months???

That is such an awesome trip and I know you will have an incredible journey. You seem to get so much more than many of the rest of us from your travels. And I love how you share them for all to enjoy.
Good luck on the packing thing. I’m starting to pack for two weeks at the beach and at the rate I’m going I may need a steamer trunk. Or two?
Respectfully,
pat

Wow, four months?? I hope they have a decent laundry room onboard!! I can't conceive of being on a ship for that long. I would get burnt out after a month, I think...

Some people do that year around. No home to take care of and if you do the math it's really cheaper than a retirement home with all your meals provided if you shop for the right deals.

Well that would explain the walk-in closet in their cabin and don't forget to pack the bubblebath!

You probably mean the cruise ship "home". Clients buy apartments on the ship and live aboard. They continue to sail around the world to every place imaginable. I could do that only I don't quite have the $2 million to buy. LOL

They get off one ship and board another. Some are longer durations than others.
