We’ve only been day visitors to Karacter and Marys Boon. Now, well be staying at the Boon, how is parking for hotel guests. Is it separate?

When we were staying there, we never had a problem with parking, even when the lot was full. I seem to recall that they block off a few spots so guests can access them. There is no dedicated spot for overnight guests.

Yes, they do keep spots for guests.

We stayed at Mary's Boon earlier this year. Every time we drove up there was a security person/parking attendant that would get us a parking spot if one wasn't one immediately available. Love Mary's Boon and can hardly wait to go back.

Just curious, how would they get you a parking spot, if one wasn't available??

I was wondering the same thing. Like poof - could be it’s magic!? But we know what they say ...... only in St. Maarten! 😊😊

Respectfully,

Stayed at Mary's Boon many times and never a parking problem even on the busiest days if you are a Hotel or Day guest.. David the security guard and its is kind of like poof...magic! If their is not a spot for a guests I have seen him move his car or another employees car farther down the road to make a close spot open up. So Friendly there. They do block guests spots as all of the parking just in front Hotel to the right driving in is within the hotel legal boundary which runs down the middle of the road. Only in St Maarten. They have amazing staff and they normally run circles around most other Island hotel staff. So easy to stay at Mary's Boon, they have about everything you would need or nothing at all.

OK, well, THAT makes sense, that they move a car that belongs to an employee to make room.

When David learns that we are back for a stay he finds out our registration number and puts a parking cone in a spot if our car is not there when he comes on duty. He watches for when we return an moves the cone then guides me into the spot if things are tight. He helps if we are carrying things since Dot has to use a cane. Just a nice kid.

He, the maids and the gentleman who helps with luggage and other issues all earn tips given with pleasure. Just a nice bunch of people.
