Visited Marina Royale last night. Ate our dinner at La Main ala Plate. Shared a Caprese salad and pizza, which was excellent. Spoke to Ricardo and he told us the new owner is the owner of Lipstick and now has bought Altro. There is anew restaurant called Be Cool, it is where Chantclair was. It looks charming and the menu looked great, a little more upscale than La Main but I didn’t think it was overly priced. We will give it a try sometime next week and report back. We spoke to the owner, he said he owned Tropicana for 15 years and bought this restaurant for his two sons.

We will be on island Sunday. What are your general impressions on the condition of Marigot and in particular the Marina area.

Has Sarafina's opened yet? Right next to Be Cool.

Still pretty rough, but it is opened for business. We’ve visited it twice this week with no problems. They say it is much busier in the day time. We won’t hesitate to go back a few more times before we leave to go back home.

While I do not want to rain on your parade, I would check out the link below.

That doesn’t represent the area we are talking about.
