We ate twice at Bistro de la Mer in Marigot, twice at Le Taitu, once at Le Piment. There are 2 pics in the picture gallery forum from bistro de la Mer. They are both flambeed not sure if u can see the fire burning . Week one fantastic, windy on orient. Ate 2 lunches at Perch Lite. Day 4 of vacation I found out I had pins in 1 of my front teeth when the tooth fell out. No pics! Gus called his dentist & she waited in her office for me to get there. In the chair for 10 minutes cost me $40 . She said tooth is broken inside oh goody. She glued & cemented & smiled & said no baguettes , oh goody. Just temporary fix so I have to be very careful. Also ate at Le Croissanterie royal & purchased quiche to take home for dinner. Found the jewelery repair guy near juggies. He did fantastic job on my ring. $50. We were both sweating big time by the time he cut it off. The band is thick & it took awhile. My friend got her chain shortened on the spot. Jewelery store people bringing items for people as well. I told him he came recommended. Thanks Sxmscubaman for the tip. Also at kontiki today the owner of bikini beach was in charge of everything there. Is he owner there too? Will report on Mon Reve later. Still velvet air to eat by.

Glad it worked out and you found the repair shop. He does good work and cost is very reasonable. What are pins in the tooth? Trying to figure it out. Is that in reference to a crown?

Didn't have crown on this tooth but when I looked at it there were 2 little pins sticking up & part of the tooth is still at the gums. No pain as it had a root canal at some point. Guess what now? We think my husband has gout! I just bought more red wine & internet says alcohol is a no no. Oh goody! Is there anything to get that will help this?? Other than me drinking all the wine & his Appleton rum! 😁

Also, if he can get to a doctor, colchicine is very helpful to relieve symptoms, only available with prescription.

Jeepers
Not only no alcohol but no shellfish. Go to the Natures store for black cherry concentrate. One near police station in P'Burg, one in Simpson Bay in a strip mall on right side going toward P'Burg not sure where went once then couldn't find it 2nd trip. Take concentrate in water 3 times daily relief in 2 days. They also sell Gout Pills ask the cashier .

Not boring at all... I broke my bottom front tooth in Sxm last week but made an appointment in New York to repair or replace it. The dentist is not on my bucket list for vacation. Thanks for your TR ...

As a sometimes gout sufferer I can recommend cherry juice. If you can get colchicine it works well.

It was delicious. Can't figure out how I got one photo carried here. There are more in the Sxm photo gallery. Would love to know what that donut boat is about. I didn't read the sign just took picture. Thanks Carol for moving them.

jeepers---all you have to do, once you upload the pictures to the photo gallery, is to right click on the picture. Depending on your browser, it should say, 'copy link'. Do that and then make a new post, click on "use full editor" and use the IMAGE tag. Your photo will then show up in the post
