Day 5 - After croissants from Bread N Butter, we spent the morning by the pool. Sun was in and out. After lunch of leftover pizza from BZH we went to Parrotville. What a great place. A totally entertaining place to interact with the birds and watch the other people. It's $10./pp. After a 1 1/2 hour visit there was just time for a little nap followed by a drive to Simpson Bay. Traffic was nothing and got there just after 5pm. We were eating at The Palm's because of the ribs and also because it was Greg's Birthday.
Split the Rib Plate($29.00). Decided to try our luck at Princess Casino. Apparently it's trying to get even for what we took out in Oct/Nov trip. Decided to best way to end the night was another stop at The Palm's for a slice of their Carrot Cake($7.) It made the night a little better. Almost forgot to take my picture. Cake pieces come a little bigger than photo.

Agreed, Parrotville is a neat place to visit! Regarding that carrot cake at the Palms, I guess that's why they make chocolate and vanilla. After hearing people rave about it, I got it one time and I didn't care for it. I like SWEET carrot cake and theirs wasn't that sweet, to me.

If it's not a sweet sticky kind then I might have to give it a try. I'm not one for over sweetened cakes, cookies or pies.

Like I said, that's why they make chocolate and vanilla. Carrot cake is my FAVORITE guilty pleasure in the world, but it's got to be SWEET. Theirs was not sweet enough for me.

Did you get a discount at Parrotville with the Caribbean Card? I think Parrotville is listed as a member.

Honestly, the cost there is $10 a person. I personally would feel kind of embarrassed to get a discount off that price. And the entertainment value there is definitely worth more than $10.. Just my opinion..

Is it one person per card or multi person party? More wondering if card is being honored.

Can't answer your one person/one card question. Didn't think to try my CC card. George needs all the support he can get.

Carol, I actually find the carrot cake at the Palms very sweet. I am more of a savory lover so it definitely was a load of sweetness for me. I prefer to order it alone with coffee rather than after a big meal.

More info on the Caribbean Card, please. Couldn't find anything on Google. Thanks.

There is another thread going on the card and it includes a link to some of the discounts. Check it out.

Thanks for the pics. I see that they have built a bunch of wooden perches for the birds at Parrottville, as I guess the trees that were there were destroyed by Irma?
