Day 18 - Last full day in SXM. Been a great trip. I'm sure I gained weight with all those croissants,....so another serving this morning. Then a quick trip to Philipsburg to check out The Waste Factory. Unfortunately couldn't find it, so will have to send them my questions on the internet. A little pool time to have something to show when I get home. Lunch was Gouda cheese on Wheat Thins, nuked for 25-30 seconds, last of the grapes. A little rest along with double checking car and phone rental schedules. Dinner tonight was another old favorite, Grouper Fingers from , of course, SMYC. Then off to the Princess Casino, to try our luck. After an hour or so they were ahead, so we left. Went for one chance at Ultimate Sports. After their hour, we were both up, especially Betty, so again we left. A final treat for this trip was a stop at The Palm's for a piece of Carrot Cake. Perfect ending for another fine day in SXM.
What a wonderful trip - everyday doing only the things that made you happy. Amen to that and thank you for sharing. Safe travels tomorrow and until next time....
Respectfully,
pat

Darn you Norm, I was perfectly happy with my January winter vacation – Pacific coast of Mexico, condo on the beach, lovely beach, shrimp tacos’s. But no …., 18 days of SXM Norm reports, it's water dripping on the rock, daily drips of reports of croissants, pics, grouper fingers reaching out - OK You got us. We give up, booked 11 days starting Mar 28 Maho area Curses and Thanks J&B
PS - Norm where did you get that fabulous 37 Sq Mile SXM shirt - we want some!
Sorry we missed you last few days Norm. Stayed in Cupecoy yesterday - traffic was backed u p to airport again! Enjoy your last day and safe travels home!

Norm's reports must have gotten to Lisa too. He does a great job of describing a wonderful vacation.
We just returned from 3 weeks in SXM a couple weeks ago and Lisa and her twin sister are headed back for another 2 weeks to celebrate their birthday next month. There must be some magic about that island! T.
John and Bev, The Rotary Nord chapter on St Martin gave me their Vocational Award a few years back for my efforts to promote SXM. Glad that I have earned it. Enjoy your weeks in SXM. And my 37square miles t shirt is old and was bought when SXM became an independent. Doubt you'll find one anymore.
Loved the reports. Sad that this is the last one as I sit here with snow falling. Day 18 sure made my imagination turn this snow into hot beach sand. Think I'll have a croissant.
