Yes donuts,
We took a ride with Kenny Francis(Francis family farms).
Our destination was cow wreck.
Anyway, he was a great host and told us about the little cafe he is opening and his specialty, donuts.
After he dropped us off, he went back and made us pina colada donuts to sample.
His donuts are great.
His little cafe should be open in a week or two.
It is located adjacent to potters on the ferry dock side.

I was chatting with Kenny, he told me that he opened his cafe by potters today.
Check it out!

Why does "Anegada Donuts" sound like the name of a band?

Pam's cinnamon rolls used to be the best, perhaps still are, I have been gone for too long. Hot, warm and huge at 8am. I would run ashore, grab them, let the smell float through the boat and toss flour on my shirt so it appeared I made them from scratch as the smell would awake the guests.

They still are the best - as are her breakfast sandwiches. She moved her operation to the restaurant building at Neptune's Treasure a few years ago.

Was just on Anegada last week. The donuts are good - mini cake donuts made in a little "waffle iron" type machine. Different flavors - banana, carrot cake, vanilla, blueberry. $5 for a dozen. There is still a sign for Pam's bakery at Neptunes - no for sale sign. We had a delicious cinnamon roll - can't verify whether it was Pam who made it, but it was yummy. Apparently her banana bread is delicious too but sells out quickly in the mornings.

I was just talking to Kenny. He said “Making Pina Colada tomorrow. Adding a new flavour 3 berries explosion (strawberry ,cranberry and blueberry mix).”
I wish we were there to try them.

I am dieting in anticipation of the donuts. I did not see a sign at Neptune's either. But Mark did tell he is trying to sell.
Go Irish!!
