Thanks, Scubaman. Here in Pennsylvania the price of a gallon of gas is now $3.16. The Nissan Leaf is looking more and more attractive to me!

That's not good. I'm not a huge Nissan fan, but they're decent cars and the new Leaf has an electric motor engine that now has a reported range of 224 miles. In reality, it's probably more like 150 miles on a charge in the northern states, but so what. The thought of never having to put gas in a car again is really a nice one. It will add roughly $11 per month to your electric bill, however. And, it may be necessary to have an electrician come over and put in a 220 lines for faster charging. Just something to ponder.

Ours is $1.30 a liter. The worst it has ever been! There are 4 liters in a gallon so we are hurting!
