We are so pumped, wheels up in 33 days! I have some provisioning questions.
First, party of 7 chartering out of Sunsail.
Looked at the Riteway website, is that what we should expect in store, or is that just a part of what we will find? We get in about noon on the 23rd, so we should have plenty of time for shopping.
Beverages: Caribbean Cellars? Tico? Tico looks close.
We are vacuum sealing and freezing ribeyes, marinated chicken breasts, custom ground burgers and brats boiled in beer and onions as entrees when we grill.
Any thoughts on provisioning?
Thanks. SO pumped!

Riteway website...take with pinch of salt!
We found a lot of the stuff we were hoping to find in-store for our gluten-free guest were not to be found!
Also check-out the Sunsail provisioning website. We use this for all the heavy gear (water, rum, coconut cream etc). It's priced well (sometimes even cheaper than Riteway) and all the stuff will be on the boat when you turn up. Saves a lot of sweat and hassle!

If flying through Puerto rico get your liquor there at duty free
Next to riteway is cash and carry...start there for bulk items and then go to riteway to fill in

...adding on to Bailau. You can find loads of stuff, even the non-bulky items at the cash and carry. Definitely worth starting there! You can then pay for that and leave the trolley in the doorway of the Riteway next-door and the security guard will keep an eye on it. Then do riteway...and grab a taxi to take it all back to the Sunsail base. There are some carts/trolleys around the place at the base to get it all from the cab to your yacht.

The liquors we drink are still cheaper in the BVI than at the duty free shop. I would save yourself the hastle of lugging the boxes from San Juan.

Another option is OneMartJust ask at the Sunsail/Moorings desk for a free ride to/from OneMart. It's only about 4-5 minutes from base. Or you can use the link for online provisioning.

We ordered produce and eggs from Good Moon Farms, we picked what we wanted, didn't go the already prepared box route and it was AMAZING. The avocados were huge and absolutely perfect. The arugula was amazing too. We would definitely use them again. They deliver to the boat as well. We also walked over to the French store and purchased some yummy cheese, french bread and frozen croissants and frozen apple turnovers that were a huge hit!

Thanks for all the input.
Liquor is cheaper than what you mix it with in the BVI, I know that.
I will definitely hit the "French" store for bread, not remembering what I got at Bobby's last trip as being very good.
