Just graduated from a Galaxy S4 to a Galaxy S9 and the difference is like going from a traditional hard disk drive to a solid state drive -- enormous differences.
Usually when coming to SXM I change the SIM myself but the SIM frame in the S9 looks a bit fragile compared to the S4. Anyone out there using a SXM SIM in an S9 have any comments about the SIM change procedure? Let me know. I kept the old phone and may well use IT with the SIM if I should...

I have an S9. Its very easy. Granted the Sim slot/holder is smaller and seems flimsier. Just do everything "gently" and you will do fine. 1. Power down the phone completely. 2. lay flat on table 3. Use a paper clip or the tool that cam with your phone to push the release. (Top of phone). Push gently but firmly.....it will release 4. Once released (popped out) pull out the sim holder slowly..... 5. Replace sim as usual.
Also make sure your hands are clean ;-)

I have a note 8 too. How do you get them unlocked? Usually, your carrier is the only one who can unlock a phone.

Between $18-$30 depending on where you buy and it should include about $10 of call credit. I believe a SIM card is only good for 60 days unless you have activity or add funds. Cost per minute is around 15cents US and you can add credit at many places from a few $$ to whatever you want. There are machines to add credit or prepaid cards you enter the information from. If your SIM expires, so does your credit.
