https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thesea.org/does-seaweed-produce-oxygen/The glucose is then used by the seaweeds as nutrient, process during which oxygen is released as a byproduct. Marine species, including seaweed, produce as much as 70-80 percent of the oxygen in the atmosphere of the Earth – scientists estimate that algae produce an astonishing 330 billion tons of oxygen a year.Sep 9, 2018 I know we all hate seaweed on the beach and really appreciate a kobota tractor(or John Deere,Ford, etc) that rakes it up each morning . Just trying to balance the narrative that in a world worried about CO2, seaweed gives us good old oxygen.
