Is November a good time to go to Anguilla?
I always hear about April.

Is there still no beach near the Allamanda and Gwen's?

We were there in Nov. Terry. It was a great time to visit! Very quiet, some of the businesses that closed for a "break" were just starting back up again. Weather and water were beautiful!!

In Nov. we WERE able to walk to Gwen's although we couldn't walk PAST her place without getting wet. There didn't seem to be much of a beach in FRONT of her place but going back towards Elodias there was plenty of beach. The beach seems to come and go there....sort of like Beachside.

Thanks Laurel, I guess there are not too many opinions on this, or the regular TTOL crowd doesn't read "General Caribbean."
I was thinking about it, but we are taking the kids to Newport for a few days this August, so we may wait till April for our next trip and possibly visit my sister in Florida this year.

We go for two weeks every Nov and April - Nov is less crowded than April - we go the last two weeks and everything is open then. I think the water is warmer in Nov.

If you look, most of the last several threads here in General Caribbean have been about Anguilla. There just aren't nearly as many stayover visitors to Anguilla here in general.

Thanks---maybe if things work out we will get there.
I am really going to miss SXM this fall!
