Looks like a shower is setting in this morning but I see some sun in the background as 2 cruise ships are approaching.

Sunday started with breakfast at the Yacht Club and the balance of the day was spent hanging out at the Horny Toad and the beach here. There are some football fans here so the HT had a TV set up under the pavilion for those who cared to watch. Great day on the beach here. The water was just about as nice as Mullet Bay.

A little social hour here and then off to dinner at Moulin Foo where we met local friends and enjoyed a nice dinner and complimentary shots afterwards. Various entrées and appetizers were ordered and all enjoyed their meals. The restaurant was only moderately busy. I had checked the menu online and it appears most prices are higher on the actual menu in the restaurant. They may not be doing sushi now as that portion of the menu was stapled closed so one could not view it. Very nice presentation of meals with samplings of several side dishes.

There were a lot of cats and kittens hanging around the area, especially where Cheri's used to be. My wife felt bad for them so we cut her steak scraps into very small pieces and she fed them as we were leaving.

We made a stop at Casino Royal as the daughter of our local friend is a dealer there. We said hello to her and my wife made a small donation. We have known this person since she was young and used to take her and her younger sister to the beach and to lunch with us in the past.

Today is departure day so it will likely be La Sucriere for pastries and then packing with some time spent on the beach here at Horny Toad. We will have lunch, pick up our luggage from Horny Toad, drop the car and hopefully have an uneventful trip home. Anticipated arrival is around midnight so it will be a long day.

I for one am happy to hear about the cats around Cheri's area. Last visit we saw rats all over there and the walk to the restaurants at left. so maybe the cats will eradicate them.

Safe travels, JD and Ronalee. It was so nice to be able to spend some serious time with both of you and who knows, maybe it will happen again down the road someday.

Respectfully,

pat
