Pssst. A little birdy told me that there is indeed a new float under construction. However it won't be installed until after hurricane season. A new landmark, er, watermark for the swimmers. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />

That would be my guess. Sounds like they're already working on it, so I'd imagine it'd be ready to go into the water once the resort reopens.
