In an attempt to save the world economy from total ruin, I will rant to get back moving on SXM and everywhere.

Someone highlighted to me that our state, which has done well, reports median age of cases at about 50, but never says average age of confirmed case.

But I just found the attached link that shows the age brackets of deaths.

Over 50 percent our over 80 years old. Another 27 % are over 70, 15% over 60 6% Over 50. 2% over 40 and ZERO below 39.

Older folks worldwide need to social, distance every winter For colds, flu, Corona.

It is clear we have smoothed the curves.

We need Disinfectant, Gloves, more masks, ventilators in warehouses, and need a vaccine and remedies. And rapid testing, isolation.

And us older folks need to be careful.


BUT THE YOUNG CAN GET BACK TO LIFE. FIRE UP THE PLANES! LETS GET GOING!!! Lysol in every hotel room! Let’s go before it’s too late.

And by their own admission, of the deaths listed (1056) in OH today, about 75 of those listed (or 7%) are NOT confirmed as Covid-19. Yet, they count them in the #'s.

Why do we need "ventilators in warehouses"? Most have not been used yet.

They could be the many carriers that don't know they have it and infect us older people.

Old people need to take more precautions and/or stay home on the front porch.

The rest of younger society needs to get back to work and have a social life.

Remember, no social security checks without social security workers. Cut those checks in half or watch inflation eat them away..........”grandpa will be urging young grandson Johnnie to get out there and be not afraid.

Rural: We smoothed the curve of a spike, but we could get more. Need the ventilators in the warehouses for unmitigated spikes and COVID-25 whenever that emerges.

I disagree on the ventilators, and what the heck are you even mentioning "COVID-25" for? Trying to panic people more or imply it is out there? Ridiculous and irresponsible!

As an older person, I'm smart enough to protect myself from someone who might be unaware they are carrying the virus. Yes, I'll need to take more precautions than I used to, but I'm willing to do that. Let the younger folks get back to work!!
