CYOA to great st. james
GREAT st. james to little lameshur.
to buck island (already have overnight anchor permit for two nights) st. Croix 2nd day at buck island.
buck island to coral bay. this is my biggest question. overnight at coral bay. Anyone have any suggestions? Thought if no place to anchor, maybe Hansens Bay.
To cinnamon bay.
Trunk Bay for day then to Hawkness Bay.
Either Christmas cove-water island or C/A harbor for last night.

hope your not leaving too soon, St.John's anchorages are currently closed. I would take Salt Pond over Coral Bay.

He's not leaving too soon. All the CYOA boats are in Puerto Rico for a couple more weeks.

No problem finding room to anchor at Coral Bay. Plenty of room between the moored boats and the channel markers near the entrance. During your briefing at CYOA they will go over the charts with you and provide suggestions for your planned itinerary based on the forecast weather and government shutdowns!!! What does it mean that the anchorages are closed? Can you still anchor in the various bays? Curious, shut down should be over by then.

As Sail2wind mentioned, St John anchorages inside the national park are closed. That means that you are not allowed to use the moorings, beaches or anchor in those areas. The Coral Bay area is outside the park system. Should the government still be shutdown when you get here, CYOA staff will provide you with alternatives. I believe Buck Island on St Croix is a national monument so it may be closed too. Perhaps others here have first hand knowledge of it's current status.

Only boats over 60 ft are allowed to anchor in the Park when the Park is open. Boats must be at least 200 ft outside the mooring field. I would imagine when the Park is closed there is no anchoring at all allowed.

The park, the beaches and the moorings were reopened on Sunday. Coral Bay isn't in the park.
