We have a place reserved for our first trip to Curacao and I've just found out that peanuts are a stapling in the Curacao diet. I have a bad peanut allergy. Question is, is it possible to avoid peanuts and things made of peanut? We eat out a lot and will be staying on the western end. Thanks in advance.

Tough question to answer if it's a staple. Definitely bring and carry your antidote with you.
You should probably try eating in ethnic restaurants like Italian, French etc.
