What would be interesting to know is if any of the travelers tested (934) tested positive for the virus? With all the pre-travel testing, I can't imagine that there were a lot of positive tests.

Honestly, I believe that active cases are declining pretty much everywhere; the media in the US is hyping new cases and total cases. Media is not the issue and cases will begin to ascend again as a result of Labor Day activities in another two weeks or so. Dr. Fauci is forecasting a very difficult period starting in the late fall through the winter of 2021 as we all begin to move inside. Also 193,000 + deaths is nothing to take lightly, especially when deaths are back over 1,000 a day and the prediction is for 200,000 deaths by the first week of October. Think its a bit early and premature to be spiking the football on this deadly virus.

I am in agreement with you Georgia. More testing (accurate or not) will increase the numbers.
In speaking with a local and long-time island friend yesterday, he said we are going to have to live with this and go forward. It is not a matter or rebuilding like after a hurricane. Tourism on the island has been pretty much dead since March. Unless tourists can start returning in decent numbers, the island is doomed.
