I know St. Martin isn't locked down, but I was wondering if the lockdown in France prevents French tourists from leaving the country and vacationing in the country's territories like SXM? Are tourists from France still arriving, or is that put on hold until the lockdown is over?
We're not traveling until next month, so the lockdown may not still be in effect, but I'm just curious about what to expect in case it is still happening. I know tourism is already way down, and I assume this is potentially only making it worse.

Thank you. I first started wondering about this because of the availability of rentals. I'd been looking at rental sites and didn't have a lot of luck with places in Orient. Then, all of the sudden after the lockdown was announced, new options came open for our dates. It worked out well for us, but I didn't know if it meant people were having to cancel their vacations.
