Wind was strong today, seas were rough. Started out with my glass of OJ from Erica at elZafiro restaurant. After prep, it was off to Philipsburg to help celebrate D & K Gems 20th Anniversary. They started in business just as we started our annual trips to SXM. Had a nice talk with Deepti, her brother Kamal, and Cousin Jeff. Dropped off one of my vases that Jeff had bought. Then onto Juggies and his "smallest bar". Got several jars of "Magic Spice" for gifts. One of the few spots I hadn't visited during my thirty plus trips to SXM. Dinner this evening was with Elaine and Bill at our mutual favorite, The Palms. Elaine got my favorite, Lasagna. She only finished half, but she'll eat the rest in the next couple days. Bill got the freshly made 1/2# Sirloin Burger. Betty and I also shared a Sirloin Burger because cut in half it gives us a good meal and still leaves room for Carrot Cake. The Burger, w/fries or salad, a coke, and a Captain & Coke is $31.00 Bill and Elaine got Carrot Cake to go. We ate ours in front of them regardless. A stop at the casino on the way home left me up a couple hundred, Betty with down.
I am really enjoying your trip reports and the beautiful pictures! Happy you visited Juggie’s. We love our visits there. We are almost out of Magic Spice (purchased in October). Hoping to replenish the supply in May!
Bob, Only place I know is at Juggies Smallest Bar in Phillipsburg. Walking Front St starting at Courthouse, walk towards church. About one building before you get to church. sign on sidewalkl
