We fly to STT next Thursday. 2/25 which calculates to Saturday, 2/20 as the first day in the 5 day window. Some of the crew have asked if an email with negative test results is sufficient for the USVI entry portal. Can anyone share suggestions on best options to meet the testing requirements?

I did this in November. I received my negative test results by email and uploaded that email to the portal. I received approval from the portal the next day. It was a very easy process.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - beer in hand - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"

My understanding is it Has to be verified as from A CLIA certified lab

the test I did was three pages.

I spent my money on booze, broads, and boats...the rest I wasted.

If you mean you just have an e-mail that says "your're good" I don't think that will do. You need the lab result given from the lab showing the lab name and the lab CLIA number (i.e., the business letter head). Mine was a pdf attached to an e-mail from the lab. I uploaded that e-mail to the usvi travel portal.

Hint - print out that covid test result AND the acknowledgement showing you were accepted by the usvi travel portal (I seem to remember there was a QR code on that acknowledgement but it's been a couple of weeks so my memory may be fuzzy). Much faster to show the health department these pieces of paper than it is to fumble around with your cell phone.

Life's short - sail more!
