Saturday we had a long leisurely breakfast at Yacht Club, eggs Benedict for me and drunken pancakes for hubby. Only three boats passed through when bridge opened. shopping in town new watch. I had already bought a watch at the Marigot Market for casual but this other is for dress.

Drove around searching for COVID testing places. Returned to BSV for a swim in the pool. Drinks watched night fall and decided to stay in. I broke my no cooking rule and made pasta with mushrooms and slivers of roti chicken washed down with Pouilly Fume wine. Played cards and I lost as usual. Pouted and went to bed.

Sunday, toasted left over baguette for breakfast with fruit then off to check out location of SLS labs. From there we went to Cost market located in front of cafe
Rembrandt....used to be Fresh Market. Very reasonable prices. Later we went to Rendezvous vous in Porto Cupecoy. Kababs and good music. Hubby had a banana split for dessert now he’s napping so I guess no dinner out tonight.

I am really enjoying your trip reports! We really enjoy the Eggs Benedict and Bloody Mary’s at The Yacht Club. I might have to try the drunken pancakes on our next visit.

I tried those drunken pancakes before. Was like a big coconut macaroon. Way to sweet for me too.

Come on people. What’s wrong with dessert for breakfast. Love those drunken pancakes.

Well, yeah, you're right there. Lots of people enjoy waffles with whipped cream, fruit, etc.

I am emotional to see even trip reports from people who did what was asked to get where they wanted to be.
I never thought in a million years that SXM along with the rest of the world would have been hit with a plandemic that shut down everything and scrambled to find the best advice to deal with it.

Carol these go waaaay beyond waffles with syrup and whipped cream. Like Scuba said they’re more like coconut macaroons only even sweeter.

We stayed in our home for a year. It was trouble to get to SXM glad we did. Sun, water, warm air have done more for us than any medicine.

OK, I prefer a more savory breakfast all around anyway. Everyone's taste is different.
