Not sure what the protocols will be but we are hoping they will oosen up a bit..we are both vaccinated. Next week we'll start planning that..trying to find out exactly what we need to land in STT..anyone? USVI PortalThe short version is test within 5 days of travel (rapid test allowed) and request approval to enter USVI thru the above portal.

It is incredibly easy compared to the BVI portal. We've done it twice and just submitted again for our transit through on Sunday enroute to EIS. Negative COVID test (can be rapid as Jason mentioned) or positive antibody test required.

How do the UVSI & BVI requirements line up together? If I recall correctly, the BVI requires a test within 72 hours of departure. Meeting that requirement would also satisfy the USVI requirement, but if, as Malcolm & Candace are doing, you stay two nights on St. Thomas, would that re-start the BVI's 72-hour countdown and require getting tested again on St. Thomas, or could you just transit onward to Tortola without another test?

Tom, you raise a good point. One needs to get the test, receive the results, work through the portal for your destination, get there, and still have enough time remaining to get through the portal and arrive at the next destination.
More than one person has nearly been on their way to the airport before getting BVI clearance. In fact we have a neighbor who got stuck in San Juan when the BVI messed up her clearance. In Mal's scenario, I would want back-up plans for testing on St. Thomas.
