Arrived ahead of schedule from JFK on JetBlue by at least 30 minutes. We were the only arrival plane so going through customs and immigration's didn't take very long. You had to show pre approval paper and covid or antigen test results. we walked out of the airport to the gentleman from Saxs with our car and he said where is your luggage? We actually walked out of the airport without retrieving our luggage. Our brains clearly weren’t working well. No problem if that's the worst of it walk back inside to retrieve.
Beachside villas is beautiful lots of sand the water was semi-calm. We unpacked and one for a drink at Driftwood. We both had on his killer rum punches and shared a chicken satay. Their menu offers lots more then pizza and Shawarma.
Got to relax a little at the Villa David one to the pool and then we were off to Lees for dinner. We made it inside for for the downpour which lasted about 15 minutes. You would never know from the crowd at Lees that it's quiet on the island because they were turning people away.
Lobster was running $20 a pound so what's a girl to do I got a three pounder and Pat you are so right slathered in butter and garlic it was awesome. David had grilled shrimp with rice and a salad the portion was very nice 10 nice size shrimp.
Will post pictures when I can.

Happy to see you made it all safe and sound and I promise you, by tomorrow this time you will know absolutely the effort was worth the end result.
Wishing you both a great time - heaven knows you’ve earned it! 😊😊
Respectfully,
pat

Sounds like you're off to a great start Louise. Still laughing about the luggage. I'm sure that's a story that will be told for a long time. Have a nice relaxing day today. ENJOY!!!!!

Good Morning! I was so excited to see your name on TTOL!
The luggage thing just goes to show how much stress you've been through trying to get to BSV. I hope we handle it as well, but I will be thinking about it, when we get off the plane!! LOL
I will be looking forward to seeing your posts---but only when you have time.
HAVE FUN!!!!
