Good Morning. I just booked a 6 day trip to STT 4/24-29/2021. Will be staying in Red Hook Andrew of course want to go back to STJ for FullDay. Thoughts are Ferry to Cruz dock. Private taxi to Trunk Bay . Leave trunk by taxi to Windmill bar for Happy Hour... Then Taxi back to CruzBay for Dinner Nd ferry home. Has anyone done this ? My concern is availability of private taxi for 2 from trunk to windmill and windmill to cruzbay. Thanks in advance for your input . Have a Jeep on stt but don’t want the hassle of car ferry delays for only one day. And cost would be less it’s Taxi service

We anchored at Francis last month. One couple booked a taxi to/from Cruz for $25 ea way to meet some friends for a few hours in Cruz Bay. He recalls that the van made another stop mid way and charged $10.

If you do use the car barge you will not have much Dinner Time in STJ, consider the people ferry and asking if you can find a one day jeep rental.
Taxis will work but make arrangements about that Windmill excursion + pick up ahead of time.
When we want to have dinner in STJ AND take our own car ******one person takes the car back to Red Hook at the end of the day and returns to meet us in Cruz Bay by ferry for dinner.
