What's the parking like in Philipsburg these days? Is there parking along the salt pond or in the government lot now? Thanks.

No parking on the ring road. Gov't lot for gov't business I believe, but think they share with TelEm. We just go to Bobby's Marina.

OK, Bobby's is the whole other end of town, pretty long walk for me. Sounds like if we go to town, Eric will have to drop me off...

Are you saying that there is no parking even on the dirt part when you cross over the little gully?

Carol, in February, I was often able to find a spot on the street right at the Walter Planz Square/Pier at the far end of the Boardwalk, just past the Sea Palace and Antoine's. There is also a small dirt lot across the street from there that sometimes is monitored and you pay about a $1, but there was no one there each time I used it.

Yes, we were planning on looking on the street first, for sure.

Carol, Be very careful parking on Front Street. You may get lucky and have no issues there but we were forewarned by several who live on island that your ‘R’ plate on Front Street is like an open invitation to get towed. That said, I haven’t noticed the tow trucks in ages......
Respectfully,
pat
