Scheduled for a 10-day bareboat charter out of Tortola in early December. My crew is getting antsy with the possibility of quarantines being reinstated, especially after learning that we cannot reschedule our charter unless the BVI is in full lock-down and not allowing tourists. If a 7-day quarantine is reinstated, we just have to live with it.
I assume chartering out of the USVI would be a work around? Coming up quickly on our 90-day decision point before we lose our deposit. Thoughts or suggestions?
Any recommendations for charter outfits in the USVI? We'd want a Cat with 4 staterooms and 4 heads. Our current bareboat is a Lagoon 450.
Thanks in advance for any advice you have.

The USVIs and SVIs are a great option. Check out the itinerary that Capt. Jay posted; he is the GM of CYOA and an active liveabourd sailor.

While Moorings, Navigare, and DYC have a smattering of boats on St Thomas, I believe most of the boats and selection is going to be at CYOA. Looking at their reservation calendar it appears they are pretty solid booked for early December. Mid December their Lagoon 450 (4/4) is available. I wouldn't wait too long to decide or you will simply run out of options. I have sailed the USVI 5 times since the BVI shut down. Believe me... it's no hardship!

Believe me... it's no hardship! Definitely some good advice ... we'll be on a sailboat in the Caribbean. What's not to love? :^)
