I'm sure he is doing quite well for himself. Every business must maintain a balance between inventory and rentals. I've been on the island and even seen the big named rental agencies with their lots empty and no rentals available. I think with the fleet size that him and his wife maintain, it allows them to provide the stellar customer service that many on this board have become accustomed to receiving.

Sounds like he needs to buy more cars to expand his fleet. That makes no sense. Bdeeley is correct. Lesley and his wife provide excellent customer service and manage everything themselves. More cars equal more car payments to make during low season when the inventory will just sit unused. They do what is manageable and workable for them.
