Friends,

Will be taking private taxi from Red Hook to Tortola on 12/22. Travelling with spouse and three children.

Will probably be close to dark by the time we leave Red Hook.

Anticipating the water taxi will probably be about 36'-39' boat, was thinking might be prudent to get off in West End vice Road Town in order to mitigate chance of getting beat-up on the water.

Also assume West End entry process might be a little quicker since everyone entering there must be vax.

Would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Thanks so much.

West End Customs will probably be closed that late.

Thanks so much.

So riddle me this, and given all of the above, do I want to take a water taxi from CA or should I catch it in Red Hook?

My theory is departing from CA will get us to Road Town quicker but more chance of rough ride.

Appreciate anyone's thoughts on this.

Red Hook is always quicker and cheaper and an easier ride.
