Thursday was a bit of a bust because of hip. Then I had a shot of straight rum to wash down my meds and began to feel great. Later we drove to Grand Case for lunch at NICE. Hubby had salmon said to have been caught that morning.He said it was delicious. I had Carnard de Maigret cooked to perfection, sliced into 1/8 inch slices served with great frites and a salad. Bottle of water because we started with Ti Punch which is a shot of rum with sugar and lime. Feeling too good I skipped wine with the meal. After we were served another shot of rosemary infused rum. Delicious. Bill was $61.
NICE is on the water side just after the parking lot. Great view great food.
After return to BSV I still felt very little hip pain but my head began to hurt. Fell asleep no dinner played cards for an hour and back to sleep.
Friday awake 4 am hip killing me. Is it too early for a shot of rum? YES! I'll suffer awhile. Rain very heavy then bright sun. Fly home tomorrow so not sure what Friday will bring except having to pac and get tested.

I need to try that place out sometime. I presume that it is pronounced like the city in France? Or not?
Wow, can't believe you all go home already! Time flies! Safe travels home. Maybe you will have to have a couple of rum and cokes at the airport before you get on the plane..

As much as the pain on the hip , you Folks did well and did enjoy your stay tranquil.

Good catch, Scuba, and I had the exact same thought. thinking more likely to catch it in the Pacific Northwest or the Atlantic Northeast but who knows - what with global warming and all....  ..

Best not to take rum with your meds on a regular basis!  Hope your head will and hip will feel better for the trip home!
