Headed home Saturday 4/2 . Sad to leave. Even sadder when the plane didn't take off as scheduled. More sad when found out no food for sale on plane only snacks. Then mid movie the system died. Bad turbulants also. Boo Hoo I miss SXM!

Sorry to hear about your crappy trip home but you're home safe and sound. Hope your hip is on the mend. We also found Longue Beach a tough trek to walk as the sand is very soft to walk on even at waters edge. But still a beautiful place. Today we walked Orient Beach which is like walking on a sidewalk at waters edge. All was going good until we got to the Club O end of the beach and Bernie did an immediate u-turn. Couldn't stop laughing.

Why does the trip down most always seem more fun than the trip home. Funny how it works that way. Glad you made it home safely.

Glad you guys made it home safe and sound. We had two groups of family members flying Jet Blue yesterday from two different but relatively local airports to different destinations. Both of their flights were cancelled - weather related perhaps? But in any event, yesterday was NOT a good day for flying. I think one group ultimately got out abd tge other spent the night at JFK’s TWA Hotel.
