He was a early adaptor and had chartered one of the first electric L420’s. That did not go well but he stated he chartered one of the Voyage boats and also had issues. A poster on here I believe had a review of the electric Voyage 480 that was not positive. He swapped the boat out if I recall. He was however not a sailor from how I read the review and planned on lots of motoring. If you are a sailor the Voyage designs are about as good as it gets in a fixed keel cruising cat. There was at least one other review on here that was very positive however that boat was a hybrid with a generator.

You will need some fuel.
Experience silent electric motors onboard this performance, eco friendly yacht! All systems are quietly powered by large capacity batteries and recharged by solar, hydro generation and a high efficiency auxiliary generator.

Been sailing for 50+ years, love to sail. Hate to motor, except when absolutely necessary.
The boat has a 250 gal fuel capacity and we will probably use around 100 gal for our trip, so we don't plan to stop for refueling purposes. Water makers as well, so shouldn't need water.
In any case, we resolved picking up the late arriving crew member (his plans changed and he will ferry over to VG), so thanks for all your advice.

With the regen and solar panels I would expect you will use way less than 100 gallons. I use 60 to 80 gallons on a standard 50 foot cat for a week. On a Voyage 440 which your boat is a derivative off I could get by with 40 gallons running the Genset 10 to 11 hours a day.
