Just received our travel policy insurance for next Springs visit to SXM from CAA (AAA in the US). We usually get the complete package i.e. medical, trip interruption etc but this years package came with a waiver that they will not cover any claims that are covid related. Did not get that waiver on our 2022 trip and did not have any claims either. Has anybody else experienced this waiver from their insurance company's. TIA.

Whale Tail--I think I would cancel and get other insurance. I know you can search by Covid coverage on Insure my Trip. The last couple trips, I have booked policies that were highly recommended for Covid coverage.

Thanks Carol I took your advice and cancelled the CAA policy. Will start shopping for a new travel plan and will check out Insure My Trip. Plenty of time before the next trip to get insurance but the resorts are already booked and the flights as well that's the most important stuff.

I hope that Covid will be just a bad memory by that time, but that is curious that they would exclude coverage for that. Best wishes getting a different policy.
