OH those dark and stormies were going down well....why oh why did I not find this delicious rum before now???

What's that sound Ward? ?your cell phone ? Hello Patsy....our cleaning lady for Reef Song wants to meet us at the dock at 7 AM instead of after lunch as scheduled....Oh crap...the storm is over..

Good thing probably as flaking that chain at 6:30 with the anchor retrieval would not be pretty with an aftermath of D&Ss ..So reluctantly I switch to beer and we call it a fairly early night after some incredible stargazing...OMG I am going to miss this place. ...it's our ready the boat for the next Partner day tomorrow. My heart is so heavy.

Up and at um with sunrise...not unusual but no hugging my mug in the cockpit this morning .a glorious day for our last ride around from Biras to our beloved home at Leverick ...those familiar red roofs appear, scan the dock for the perfect slip, fenders placed, lines ready and the captain and admiral secure Reef Song like pros...people always ask us ...you are on that 52 by yourselves? Who crews? me silly!! it's all we have known so I guess we don't know differently...Oh and Ward is used to piloting super tankers and cruise ship so I guess that helps eh?

So our amazing Patsy arrives and we head up to do another lovely ( not) job...laundry. up to get tokens at the hotel and huge welcome back hugs from Nick and Monzi and get to say goodbye to Jim who is checking out of the hotel and heading back to Texas....my god I hate goodbye so decided not to say it and say " until next time" instead...and we are already planning the next time .

it's absolutely gorgeous here today

So boat all cleaned and start the packing process...yuck
Clean, pack, eat , drink, clean, pack, drink, pack, drink...drink....

We are directed to the bar to meet up for some happy hour liberations ..off we go for more fun with Nick, Monica, Kat and Angie...can not think of a better place to spend a Saturday afternoon .

we are awaiting the arrival of one of our newest partners Larry and crew and said we would meet him at the bar....well we did

They arrive tired and weary from a long day of cars, planes, ferries etc and settled in nicely..what a fantastic time we had....the storm that cleared too quickly last night has reappeared and man they tasted good!!

Our last night aboard and a big day tomorrow so we turned in after we closed down the bar. Night night Irene...

Sunday Funday...up early again to start the final prep for handover...big breakfast to use up all the leftovers then final cleaning down below and deck scrub., finish oiling the teak and one more laundry stop...Hi Larry...strolling with a coffee coming down from his hotel room. come on board for a visit. ...so he did....all washed polished and shiny for you and your crew...

It's the SUP and swim the sound day today for VISAR fundraiser...OMG how cool is this?

Sadly we need to say " until next time" to our amazing friends...heavy heart does not begin to explain my emotion...

We have an early start for our long journey home the next day...6:45 NSX-cape air to SJU from EIS - Newark- Moncton then 2 hr drive home after landing....thinking home by 2 AM ....and I have to work the next day....what the heck was I thinking?

So reluctantly we part ways and get to bed...

our long journey home happened, we went back to work....now have the most sever DIF ever.
3?? Days.....to depressed to count

Displaying my souvenirs in my bar at home proudly......
