They are closing at 6 PM today, reopening at 11 AM Saturday, because of Tropical Storm Fiona.
Those with flights in the next couple of days, keep in touch with your airline!

They may do a curfew as well. That happened to us one time, to keep people off the flooded streets.

My luck. Scheduled in at 12:30 pm Saturday the 17 th. United Airlines giving early warning about possible delays or cancellations. Doubtful of an on time arrival.

Yes, I doubt very much they will take off from your port of origin for SXM, unless the airport is open at the time you are supposed to take off.

KLM just landed in the rain. So far, I haven't seen any incoming flights cancelled, other than some Winair ones. Looks like they think they will be able to get planes landed and taken back off again, before the weather deteriorates too badly. It's miserable, getting on or off a plane in the rain, with no jetways..
