Hello,

We are arriving in St. Thomas at 2:24pm and are hoping to make the 4pm ferry to Tortola. The last time we were there, sharing a taxi took forever (waiting on people to get loaded then a stop on the way to the ferry). I was thinking it would be quicker to arrange private transportation. Does anyone have any recommendations? I can't wait to get back down there!

Just tell the dispatcher you want a private trip. It will be more expensive.

$84 for a private trip on taxi. We did it with another couple that got in the van this past October. We just split the $84 fare. No problem.

Call Stanley at Love Cab and arrange to have him pick you up. 340 473 6344. Excellent service and will call the Ferry company to let them know you are enroute if timing is tight.

If you are on Smith's Ferry, call them and they will will arrange private transportation. Ask for Marjorie Smith.
