Last week we returned from our first trip outside the US since Covid. We returned to Bonaire for the third time. It is a wonderful island (one of the Dutch ABC islands) that is very wild with great snorkeling (and diving and hiking and wind-surfing) and also has great restaurants. That is a curious combination for sure. We photographed and identified 179 different forms of wildlife with 69% fish, 15% corals, 7% sponges. 7.2% were new to us, which is always fun. The trip report, photographs and videos are at: http://doppstein.com/ceramic_arts/frontpages/snorkeling/index.htmlthen click the top left button. Hope you enjoy the set.

Thanks for the report and the pictures! I will need to go back later to take time to look at all the pics.
By the way, how do you GET to Bonaire? Are their flights to there nonstop from the US?

We’ve been thinking about Bonaire or Curaçao for our next snorkel vacay. Where do you stay? I love waking up with a coffee and staring at the ocean. Other amenities come second! Nice pics BTW!
