I'm not sure what a 'gifting' article is, but they still want you to register? To me, it seems like that one may be more of a threat to Florida--which still isn't good for me, personally. Hope it just doesn't form.

Here is an update from Monday 14:00 EDT from NOAA:

"...Environmental conditions are forecast to
become conducive for gradual development thereafter, and a tropical
depression could form late this week while the system is in the
vicinity of the Greater Antilles or the Bahamas. Interests in the
Greater Antilles, the Bahamas, and the southeastern U.S. should
monitor the progress of this system."

So it looks like it's not likely to develop into anything powerful until after it gets past SXM.

We are supposed to fly to Miami late Sunday and on to St. Maarten Monday morning. Hoping we are not impacted by this system.

Yes, we are supposed to fly out of Miami to St. Croix on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Slow development of this wave but it looks like Florida is in the path in the next 7 days.
