We'll be in St. Maarten in a few weeks and very interested in the beach condition at and around Pedro's-the Club Orient side.

Whatever the current beach conditions are, bear in mind with winds, storms, and just everyday weather they will change. What they are now may be drastically different from a few days from now, let alone 2 or 3 weeks.
Obsessing is not going to change anything at Pedro's or Orient Beach.
