There is a ground stop until at least 2pm. The airport is open.

Ground stop means planes are not landing/taking off. Closed down means the terminal is not allowing travelers in.

jphart Traveler Joined: May 2011 Posts: 1,259 Likes: 2 JAX	On Friday Delta had a 757 abort takeoff due to engine fire, and passengers subsequently evacuated on the runway; shutting down two runways. Snow and ATL is never good. JPH I spent my money on booze, broads, and boats...the rest I wasted.
