It's been years since we took a taxi from Princess Juliana Airport to Orient Village. Does anyone have any insight on the cost these days? And any words of advice?

Have only done SFG to Marigot for a ferry, was 20€.

Not sure if this website is accurate but I don't think you should pay more than $50 for a taxi from SXM to Orient.

Last week the official rate from sxm to orient was 40. We have found it always seems to be more expensive returning to the airport!

Anyone tried it out? We haven't used taxis on island in years as we usually have a car and don't drive at night but I can see using it especially if going to a place where parking is hard or we plan to have some adult beverage and don't wish to drive.
