Hi there. Starting to plan for our upcoming BVI trip in June (11 days - bliss!). It’s been a few years since our last stay so I wanted to get a sense of cash situation. Have more establishments gone cashless? Is cash still king? I know that for taxis and tips, cash is needed. Do more restaurants and bars use payment terminals these days? Thanks in advance!

Major bars and restaurants take cards..but lots of the smaller places, beach bars etc take only cash.I take $$$ and top up at the ATM at "Boys gas station" in Sea Cows Bay rather than go all the way into RT..The ATM at Nanny Cay hardly ever works and nothing on the West End anymore..
