Will be in South Africa late August into September and looking for best whale watching optional trip. Most of them look to do multiple different things and we have other trips planned so looking for small boat and up close in water encounters. We realize it is about a 2 hour drive, but looking for smaller tour. Only one I found so far is not touring on our dates available.
thanks for any help.

If you're planning a whale-watching trip in South Africa during late August to September and are seeking a small boat experience with close encounters, you're in luck. This period is prime whale-watching season, especially for Southern Right Whales, which migrate to the South African coast from June to November. While swimming with whales isn't permitted due to conservation laws, several operators offer intimate, small-group tours that bring you as close as legally possible
